Desulphurization Process

A ceramic factory had been mixing 1,000kg of lime powder with water to neutralize the hydrogen sulfide inside the water gas system daily. However, the spraying system was getting blocked by the hard scale of Calcium Sulfate every 12 days and had to stop production to clean up the spraying system.

Factory installed “ElectroChemical System” on the water pipe of the Spraying system to eliminate the hard scale. After 6 months, it resulted as per below:

  • Productivity : Maintenance time reduced 600 hours (90%) per annum, Productivity is improved and Cost of maintenance is reduced.
