Power Plant

 

A LPG Power Plant mainly using chemicals for water treatment, but the performance of turbine condensers was continuously dropping in the past 2 years. Besides, the waste water of the power plant has also polluted the environment which forces them to reduce the use of chemicals.

The plant installed the “ElectroChemical System” on the water pipes of condensers to eliminate the hard scale and bacteria and after 3 months, it resulted as per below:

• Energy : Turbine Degree of Vacuum improved 0.8 (0.86%), Productivity is increased and Cost is reduced;

• Productivity : Transit temperature between Condenser and Cooling Water has been lowered down by 0.37 ºC (7.4%). Productivity is increased and Cost is reduced;

• Productivity : Bacteria count of Cooling Water has been reduced 297,600 (99.2%). Productivity is increased and Cost is reduced;

• Environment : Chemical consumption is reduced 575 tons per annum (88.5%), less wasted water is produced and environment can be improved;
