Injection Machine

A plastic factory had been using more than 135 units of injection machines for production and water is used for cooling the injection machines. After 6 months, hard scale has been formed inside the machines which increases the down time of the machines and decreased the productivity.

Factory installed “ElectroChemical System” on the water pipe of 10 units of Water Cooling Towers to eliminate the hard scale. After a year, it resulted as per below:

• Energy : Saved 98,000kWh (17.2%) per annum, Cost is saved and Carbon Emission is reduced;

• Productivity : Maintenance time average reduced 327 hours (7.3%) per annum for every unit of injection machine, Productivity is improved and Cost is reduced;

• Environment : ：Chemical consumption reduced 2.85tons per annum (55%), less wasted water is produced and environment can be improved;
